Terms of Service
Last updated: August 11, 2026These terms govern your use of the Moodly iOS app. By using Moodly you agree to them.
The service
Moodly is a mood journal with a companion character: mood check-ins, daily notes, AI conversations ("Talk"), gentle habits (water, goals, reminders), Reset sessions, and a weekly aura. The core is free; Moodly Plus unlocks the Weekly Aura, aura gallery and posters, extended history, and the full Reset library.
Subscriptions
- Moodly Plus is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID.
- It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Use Restore Purchases in the app to recover an existing subscription on a new device.
- Prices and periods are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
Your content
- Your check-ins, notes, photos, and conversations are yours. We store and process them only to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy).
- Don't use Moodly to create or store unlawful content, and don't attempt to abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the service.
AI output & wellbeing
Moodly's replies and weekly auras are AI-generated; they vary and may occasionally be inaccurate. Moodly is a companion, not a substitute for professional care, and it does not provide medical, psychological, or crisis advice. If you are in crisis or worried about your safety, contact local emergency services or a crisis line right away.
Termination
You can stop using Moodly and delete your account at any time in the app's settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimer & liability
Moodly is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted in the app. Continued use means acceptance.
