Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Moodly ("we", "us") is a mood journal with a companion character: you check in with how you feel, write small notes, talk with Moodly, and keep gentle habits like water and goals. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

What we don't do

Processors

Apple (payments, sign-in) · Google (sign-in, cloud infrastructure — our servers and storage run on Google Cloud in the EU; push notifications via Firebase) · fal.ai (AI replies and weekly aura) · RevenueCat (subscriptions). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Storage & retention

Your data is stored on Google Cloud (EU region) and kept until you delete it or delete your account. Usage events and request logs are retained for product analytics and abuse prevention.

Your rights

You can delete notes, goals, and your profile photo in the app. To erase everything, use Delete account in the app's settings — it permanently removes your account and all associated data. For a copy of your data, or any question, contact tknappstudio@gmail.com — we respond within 30 days. Moodly is not directed at children under 13.

A note on wellbeing

Moodly is a companion, not a medical or therapy tool, and its AI does not give medical advice. Your moods and notes are private to you; we don't diagnose, score, or judge.

Changes

We'll update this page when the policy changes; material changes will be noted in the app.
